During Labor Day week, we conducted a planned foundry shutdown to allow maintenance to perform significant upgrades to our green sand delivery and removal system. Proper planning and execution allowed us to ensure safety, quality and efficiency remain top priorities at Aluminum Alloys while minimizing impacts to customer deliveries. This was the first of several large projects currently planned to drive continuous improvement for all aspects of our facility!
